The Beaver Quarry is the second location on Carmageddon II and Carmageddon 64. It is the county's main quarry, featuring, above all, big stones, as one would expect. Being a quarry, there are locations reserved to hold said stone, conveyor belts, etc.

General info

Located next to a field, this old quarry takes up most of the map. The general layout is rocky terrain and roads throughout pretty much the whole quarry. There is, however a field at the Southeast, and a forest with a minimal amount of trees and dirt road. A couple of tunnels are found here and there. At the South, there is a small compendium of buildings, most likely the miners' houses.

Opinions

It's not particularly hard driving on rock, but when the track reaches grassy terrain, some players may not enjoy it. Other than that, this level is fairly fun.

Goodies

• By following the conveyor belts, the player will be lead to a extra armour slot and then a extra armour powerup, which is strangely displayed as the extra power pickup.
• At the middle of the map, a bit to the West, halfway trough the path that leads to a higher ground is a series of powerups.
• While at the highest ground, specially after leaving the forest, there is a wood block on the entrance to a cave with some goodies. The cave's position is above the lower part of the tunnel that leads to the forest.
