• The car is based on the famous/infamous DeLorean DMC-12 - Famous for its appearance as a time machine in the Back To The Future movies, yet infamous because it was the only car the company produced - the DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt quite quickly.
• The manufacturer's name on the front of the DeGory'Un 2 is RUN: Add that to the real-world manufacturer (DMC) and one gets Run–D.M.C., the famous Hip-Hop group.
• The first De Gory'un appeared in the Splat Pack, but Metal Mikey was the driver that time. Wonder what happened to him?
