The Giant Pedestrians powerup makes all pedestrians on the map, living or not, giant-sized. This makes them easier to see, and a wider target. The pitch of their voices gets much lower. Unfortunately, in Carmageddon II, the pedestrians are also much harder, and hitting them normally causes more damage to the car than the pedestrian.
