The save game menu screen allows the player to save his/her progress on a game slot. While some games have a limited number of slots to choose from, others give the player an unlimited amount. When the player only has a certain number of slots, eventually, (s)he'll have to overwrite the progress of one of the existing slots.

Accessed from the pause menu, this screen allows the player to choose from one of the 8 existing slots. When the player chooses a slot, (s)he's given the chance to name it.

Carmageddon IIEdit

The game saves progress automatically: there's no way to save manually.

Carmageddon TDR 2000Edit

When at the choose race screen, the player can click the save button. The game will immediately save on the current game's slot.

Carmageddon (Game Boy Color)Edit

This game doesn't have a writable SRAM, so the player must use passwords to keep his progress. The player must write his/her password down after receiving it from the see password menu. At a later time, the player may resume the game by writing this same password on the enter password screen.
