The Wrecks Gallery (or Damage Gallery) is the menu screen that appears after the player has successfully completed a level. All opponents present on the race are displayed on this screen, and can be selected and rotated using the mouse, to view them from any angle. The opponents will be shown like they were when the race ended, which means that if the player wasted a car and it ended up really bent, the wrecks gallery will show it bent as well. In several games, cars bought on this screen are added to the Choose car menu screen.

Carmageddon[]

In Carmageddon, the Damage Gallery merely serves to take a look at the wrecked opponents.

Carmageddon II[]

The Wrecks Gallery screen is not only for viewing wasted vehicles, but is also the screen where vehicles can be purchased. The cost of the highlighted vehicle and the amount of Credits the player has are listed at the bottom of the screen. If the player has enough money they can click the buy button, and the vehicle is added to their garage.

Carmageddon TDR 2000[]

This screen is the same as the Choose car screen, except that it shows the opponents, their value is displayed on top, and the buy button is present; nothing else.

Carmageddon (PlayStation)[]

This game doesn't have a Wrecks Gallery. Cars are purchased at the Choose car screen.[confirmation needed]

Carmageddon 64[]

In this game, the player's garage is limited to six cars.
The Wrecks Gallery presents the player with the vehicles (s)he wasted, providing 3 options: Repair, Scrap or Sell.

  • Repair: Adds the car to the player's garage for a fee, if there is a slot available.
  • Scrap: Disposes of the car entirely, earning credits.
  • Sell: Sells the selected car in the player's garage, freeing up one slot and giving him/her credits.

Players press Start to exit this screen.

Carmageddon (Game Boy Color)[]

This game doesn't have a Wrecks Gallery, seeing as cars are bought at the Choose car screen.

Carmageddon (Funsize)[]

The Android and iOS edition serves much the same purpose as in the original game, though it also indicates if the player has successfully obtained a stealworthy vehicle in the course of the race.
